My birthday was on 9th may and I celebrated it simply as I do every year. Normally a person steps into the age of adult at 18 but, at 21 he/she enters into the real age of adulthood and fortunately I am 21 yuppie. D But I realized it today, and don’t ask me how? Because it’s a top secret. When I was 18 I wanted to do everything that I am allowed to at 18 legally.
Yet I enjoyed my age by lighting firecrackers, lagging bag packs around the school campus, home work, fear of being scolded by teachers,  riding bikes, outing with friends,  naughty gossips about girls and much more. But  its time to do something different which would make me feel like I am being an adult just to celebrate this age of 21 .
So here are my TO DO lists for this year.

Taste the beer:
Non of my family member drinks other  than my dad, he is in force so obviously he should drink but I never saw him drinking in front of me. But I want to taste these freaking things to know why people are so addicted these.

Driving licence:
I have been driving since I was 17 and caught many time but they let me go because of dad. But now its time to get my own driving licence and drive freely.

Cast my vote:
I got my voter id card last year but could not cast my vote because a huge blunder in the voter id card. Those freaking guys printed my sex as female. I know my name is little girly type but, don’t they verify the form I have filled. I hope by this election I would get my new voter card and would cast my vote.

Get my passport:
Going abroad has been by dream since I was a kind, I wanted to explore the world but don’t know if someday I would fulfil my dream or not but still having an passport feels great to me as it is a kind of national identity.

Find a job:
I have seen many people of my age group doing work may be because of their economical problems and may be others by choice. I don’t want to do job right now I want to study a lot but, I just want to feel the situation and pressure for  few days. Probably online jobs are suitable for me.

 Propose my girlfriend:
I think you would be confuse to know this. Me and my cute one are in relationship from past few years but I have never proposed her, actually I don’t have the guts to propose any girl it is the toughest job in my life. :D and thanks to God that I did not need to propose her but, now I have to do..(I know this one is a stupid paragraph)

Yet I knew that age are just the numbers which changes every year, but do you know our responsibilities grow on with the changing numbers?

Health is everything for we living beings, after all health is wealth. I have lot of health problems since when I was a kid and my parents use to insist me to take precautions and usually they use to warn me about many things but I never heard care to their words, as I wanted to escape from all those medicines and rules that I had to follow, but after suffering from deathly bronchitis and may other diseases now I understood what is   health.

Everyone wants to stay healthy, and that is what modern health care does. It’s a boon for us. If we look back into late 90s of India where people use to die and suffer very tough just by simple disease and infections. There were no cure many type of diseases and there were lack of proper medical amenities, people who had enough money they only had the chances for good medical facilities but not better.  There we no awareness and campaign about anything.

Now things have changed with time, Medical science along with technologies brought a new life in treatment.  It have discovered cures over various deathly and painful diseases, developed  well medical infrastructure, skilled brain from around the world by medical tourism, awareness about various diseases such as AIDS, Breast Cancer, Diabetes and so on.  The main motto of modern health care are faster treatments, quick diagnosis, Effective patient care, less hectic for patient, including latest medical amenities and tools. Modern health care have touched the life of many of us and give a hope to live the life again.
Here are some latest medical innovations that pinged my mind:

Needle free Diabetes care:
Diabetes test is painful, every times we need to give blood for blood glucose testing and next is poking daily insulin, which leads to infections. But now forget about it,  Echo Therapeutics is developing a bio-sensor what would analysis blood glucose without poking any needle. The sensor collects one reading per minute and sends the data wirelessly to a remote monitor, also trigger the alarm when level of glucose is more than the range.

Robotic Check-up:
Hats off to technologies. Now medical robots are now well established to take the place of few emergency doctors, they can now patrol the hospital as per routines, checking patients  in different rooms and maintain their charts.

Robotic Surgery:
Robots has take their positions at many places instead of humans, such as car manufacturing,  food  and drinks producing etc and now robots has also taken place in medical operation theatre in place of doctors. However robotic surgery is not familiar everywhere, only few part of this world have brought this system. With robotic surgery a patient will have Smaller incisions, less blood loss, less pain and quick healing time.

Drugs for Prostate Cancer:
Earlier, the only way of healing prostate cancer is by surgery which was painful. In the past two years several drugs has been introduced for prostate cancer, it will not only increase patient survival but also halts the process of this disease.

But hold on… we should keep in mind that the most of the Indian population belongs to middle class and lead a miserable life and so many times they have to depend upon the government hospitals and health care unit and the types of facilities I mentioned above are available only under private medical units and the private sectors are doing their best , no doubt . Here the government hospitals lack those basic things like cleanness, skilled doctors,  skilled nurses, well enough equipped tools and diagnostic departments. A patient has to rush to some diagnostic clinic in whatever his/her condition is just for a test.

There are more rules and formalities than treatments and because of these I lost one of my friend. If a person have meet an accident or any other things related to police cases, they will ask “did you call the police? Please fill this form, please complete the formalities first”   Ok let the patient die on stretcher  until you don’t complete these formalities. I understand that the formalities are indeed necessary and it can be complete later but can we complete a life after it is gone?

Modern health care should be  available to every citizens and for that it should be effective expenditure, availability, and awareness , then modern health care will stand as boon for every citizens.

Apart from all these I would also like to include the e-medical activities, now a days there various websites in the internet founded by many health expert and doctors ,that provide health care information about any treatments, medicines, tests, expenditures , home remedies, first aid for many diseases and many more, I found these type of website very helpful and get quick information at many situations. One can ask questions, share their experience and views about many topics. Here are some of my favourite websites below.

I got a shocking news last morning with some pinch of funny feeling from inside. Well… yesterday in the morning around 6:30AM one of my friend ringed up me (I am not going to mention her name). I was in little doubt when I saw her number, because she didn’t not called me and nor I have called her after we got out of school days, well I picked up her call and here are our conversations below.
Me: Hi! How come you called me?
She: can’t I call you? Good morning.
Me: Oh good morning , so how are you? Oh girl its just 6 o clock.
She: I am fine. And I am getting married on this Saturday.
Me: What? I didn’t’ get it .
She: I am getting married on 11th May.
Me: Sorry, repeat please!
She: Dammit! I am getting married and you have to come to attend my marriage.
Me: You are kidding in this early morning right? You have already spoiled my sleep ,Girl!  I am going to kill you if this is a joke.
She:  Nope, I am not kidding , you make talk to my mom if you don’t believe me.
Me: Ok! Fine, I will call back you later, let me sleep now.

OMG! I Was shocked after  getting this news, she is just 19 and getting married. This is the time to learn to grow to explore but she is tying the knot of marriage.  I don’t know why did she agreed to marry at this age, she have three more sisters and may be this is one of the reason that her parents are going to tie her knot.  I am feeling bad because she is graduating and it will hamper her studies.

Well May be I don’t know their particular reason or may be I am not mature enough to think properly about this matter but, what I think , It is 2013 and still people think their daughter as burden of family. Why don’t they let her grow, complete education and  after few years she would do something and contribute into her family. But the matter is,  she is happy with her decision or not.

Know what the funniest and weirdest feelings coming from inside is t ” OH God! My schoolmates are getting married! Then we all might have grown so old and mature.”  I was looking into mirror for hours  just to clarify that I am not grown that matured!  Kudos!  :D She have invited me in her marriage and its little weird that I am going to attend a friend’s marriage ceremony at this age :P and I don’t know what to gift her… any idea about gifting my dear reader s?
