My The year is almost at the edge and a decade is also going to end and a new era is going to begin in the next few days, so it is the ideal time to reflect back into good and bag phases of life and rejoice the little things that was blissful moments in this year and this will also help me to sort out the things and prepare for the upcoming year mentally , physically and economically. The main reason I write this year in review as it means to :

  •  Appreciate all the little moments Both good and bad part of 2019
  •  A transparent view of the days ahead in 2020

Well we all are bound by time and as 2019 is going to end I found myself checking out how much my life has changed in last 12 months. I remember I received 2019 when I was on night shift at the office in Kolkata, and on the first early morning of 2019 I was so freaking happy and took two days of day-off to celebrate the new Year's Eve with family. When I went back home, all I wanted to have fun and stick to the resolutions I have made. I was on it according to the rules but I was skidding out of it gradually due to various reasons one after another, but it was a great year for me and somewhere I learnt many epic things about life and how does it goes on. Here is a recap with what I got upto this year :

  •  January
A moment from Office gathering during January 2019

As I mentioned I received 2019 at office, it was a great beginning of a new year as from the first day of 2019 dad has begin the construction of our new home and by the end of December it would be almost completed . It was an exciting month as I spent most of the working days by wandering around the city and I took multiple day off to attend family picnic and spend some quality time with friends and this is the only month in when I tired to stay away from work most of the time.

  •  February
A moment at Puri beach during February 2019

This month was packed with fun , we attended several marriage occasions of my relatives.I spent my winter holidays at beach and yes I saw the sea for the first time ever. I also made some great friends from the other states whom I meet at the same hotel I was staying . It was also fun attending several training several cyber security training season at office where I got to learn a lot of unknown things to me. The end of this month was full of lawful because its when the heap of work begin to start .

  • March and April

These was the most busiest months of this year , the schedule was jam packed with multiple security audits , remote support and many more. I have hardly taken two days of day off in these two months. At last the end of the April was better as I have received many letter of appreciation from the prestigious organization for the beautiful work done by our team.
Shot between march and april at Kolkata river bank

  • May
the birthday boy of the month

Of course this is the most awaited month of every year because I was born in this month twenty eight years ago and I celebrate each day of this month in every damn way. In this month I usually leave the office 30 minutes before and spend the rest of the time by doing little things to give privilege to myself and people who are directly connected to my life. Sometime I get out and enjoy the street food which I don't eat usually, buying some gifts for better half and myself. I remember in one evening I suddenly decided to gift myself a wrist watch which I was willing to buy from last three months and I spend the rest of the time with my family and do whatever it takes to bring a smile on their face.

  • June
During a ride

June was very happening as me and my wife made different trip on bike it was around 1500KM multiple rides within the state which brought us up to see many things that I could not have imagined that It could really exists in our state. Frequent bike rides are towards Tarkeswar, Howrah, Chandanagar, Tribeni, Kalna, Burdwan and Khana. Saw a lot of things like bunkers of British Soldiers during world war two, 100 Shiva temple near Burdwan,

  •  July and August
Far from Digha

We made an unplanned trip for a week to Digha as it is one of the nearest holiday destination from my hometown. Actually it was planned for road trip but due to my back pain we had to change the plan in overnight and left for the destination on the next morning by train. Because of unplanned trip we faced some difficulties to find hotel rooms as most of the hotels were pre occupied. But it was a memorable trip of this summer where we spent lots of memorable time together as it was off-season so we found it less crowded . A perfect gateway not too far nor too expensive but good enough for relaxation where there was no burden of work, no household chores and only me she and the she.

  • September, October and November

These three month had everything that is required to celebrate and live each and every day of a month like birthday of my wife , navaratri, ganesh chaturthi, Diwali but it was un-predicted to loss my uncle due to throat cancer and also one of my relative in-laws passed away just at the age of 45 due to sudden cardiac arrest , my mother in-law was admitted to hospital due to sudden increase in blood sugar and pressure we spent 5 days around the corridor of the hospital . I won’t forget these three months ever .

  •  December

It is the best time to witness the snowfall so I had planned a trip to north Bengal to experience snowfall but unfortunately I had to cancel it due to financial issues and postponed for the next winter. Perhaps it is the time to recall the moments and I had some of the best memories . What life has taught me this year are

  •  ‘Life is unpredictable’ .
  • Dream big but be happy with what we have in today because greed and needs will never be fulfilled.
  • Spend as much time as You can with your family , loved ones and those who care for you because you may don't have the next moment to do so.
  • Its ok to say sorry because it strengthen us .
  • Its ok to forgive and forget things because by doing so you don’t carry any grudge in your heart.
  • Give honors to yourself by spending time by doing little things you love to do, gifting yourself the things you like, thus you may realize who you are.
  •  Stand alone , you will realize your capabilities .

Lets hope the new year and the new decade will be productive, may bring happiness and prosperity in our lives. Good by 2019 thanks for all the memories.

It is sometimes said that money is happiness. But money and happiness walk side by side , as we can’t buy happiness and emotions by money as well as happiness and emotions cannot bring money but they are equally important and rely on each other. I thought to write this article a long ago but I was not ready but I think this is the right moment. I have been asked by many people the same question "Money or happiness , which is most important for you"? In my opinion both are equally important as air and water as we can't breath without air nor fulfil our thirst without water . There is a difference between something we wish to do and things we require to fulfil our wish . Our will to do and people around us are main purpose where as money is the prime ingredients which fulfil our requirements for happiness.

Let me give you some real life examples. Last month my mother in law was admitted in hospital due to hyper sugar and lack of insulin. The money helped us to meet all the medical treatment expenses and her will to get well soon.

My nephew met a road accident and the position near his right ankle was fractured. He needed to implant a stainless steel for rigid internal fixation on the fractured position which Costs him some lakhs of money for the surgery and now he can walk properly. So here money becomes a vital part for his treatments too. If there are any festivals we need money to buy new clothes , decorative materials and puja items as well as we need the presence of people complete the celebration of the festival.

 But

As I told the presence of people along with the ability to spend the money is required. Let it be the festival of Diwali for a blind man , he may have plenty of everything but he cannot enjoy the festival lights as he feel no difference between day and night or dark and light . An old man who has enough savings which he has earned during his young service life and now he can buy everything he wishes but he can't go out enjoy the fullest like we do .

So money , our wish and will to do and people around us are equally important for the bunch of our happiness. Time , money and energy will never be parallel with us, everyone among us will face few stage of life when we will have plenty of time , a pinch of less than plenty of energy but lack of money is our childhood .

Then there is a stage which is full of energy , enough money and lack of time because at this stage we do have full of responsibilities where we cannot escape from our responsibilities and enjoy the way we want .then at last there is a stage when we have enough time and plenty of money but what we lack is energy because at this stage we have grown old and our body doesn't support our will and wish to do the things we did at our adulthood .

Of course money is the most important thing and in today's world It is required at every gesture of life, but if we run only behind money then we might forget to live the actual life that we have today. Lets make a plan and sort out everything accordingly , make a purpose and it is better to enjoy the present moment of life with what we have because we cannot have everything all at once.

It is beautiful to grow up with all the things happening around us but we don't realize that we are growing up and we hope that things will be smooth as always and when we realized that we are grown up things has changed a lot beyond our expectations.

Last month was full of festival , Bengali's biggest festival “Durga Pujo”, Navaratri , Lakshmi Puja etc and every streets were glowing with color of joys and happy faces at the every corner. This year my "Pujo" was not what I had dreamed of just like every year . On the day of Mahalaya one of my close relatives passed away, it was a sudden unexpected death as he was just 50 years old without any chronic diseases and died of cardiac arrest. The entire family could not bear such loss and some of them are still in grief. On the day of Panchami my mother in law was admitted in hospital for sudden increase of blood sugar level and Hyperthyroidism. It was only me and my wife were doing all the necessities to restore her health soon as possible . Buying of higher spectrum medicines from far away, keeping an eye on her as well as looking around the hospitals for all the available services in hospital premises if she needs any helping hand . We were doing all the things with .

It is so weird to grow up but it is much more weird that not to realize that we have grown up and growing up doesn't mean only age , it's something that called responsibilities and duties. At the moment I have finally realized that I have grown up, things has changed a lot with so much of responsibilities, taking care of my elder ones , looking out at my family , fulfilling their needs in every way I can but I have never realized it before. As I am growing up it seems like I am prepared for it but actually it changes in a jiffy. The moment I realized that I grew up , I felt myself alone in the crowd, I missed my elder's support and I realized that all I have to do it myself as the elders need my support including my parents and everyone in my family who are having some faith in me that I will sort it out of everything .

Believe me all my lives I have looked forward for the moment when I would be on my own when I have to make my own decisions, should I take a nap or not but when the moment has came, but actually it is getting difficult. Sometime it is fun with new responsibilities as like I have to do a lot of things but then I feel daunted. But I believe I have that courage and capabilities to fulfil the responsibilities, after all I have realized the I have grew up .Whatever decision I make , I am going to be prayerful about it and hopefully I will always make the best decision for my family , myself, friends and everybody.
kash phool, kash flower, kans grass
Kash Phool

Navratri or Durga Puja one of the greatest religious festival for Hindu religion and when we say it as Durga pujo for bengali community then we get goosebumps with full of excitements. In Bengali terms we spell it "Pujo Ascha". In west Bengal pujo ascha means there will be long holidays for schools , government offices , colleges for a long term of about 10 to 12 days. This is the most awaited festival for Bengali.

autumn clouds, white clouds on clear blue sky
soroter akash

Pujo ascha means we have to buy new dresses for all of our loved ones , jewelry , shoes etc. It is one of the most expensive festival of Bengal that here the businessmen makes triple profits in just one month which they can't make in the whole year .The beauty of pujo starts one month before the pujo, the white clouds like cotton balls is floating on the deep blue sky we call it “Soroter Akash”. The Kans grass or “Kash Phool” in Bengali on every corner of roads, railway tracks, rice fields and ponds enhancing the beauty of this month by reminding happily that the festive season is just about to begin. The giant puja pandals has started erecting the pandals around the city and the city and young people from our colony has started collecting puja donation from every houses and every vehicles passing by the local roads, these young people are also promoting the theme of the puja pandals so that many people visit to see the idols Goddess durga and most importantly the theme of pandal so that they can fetch a most beautiful/creative pandal reward trophy. Pujo asche means people who will get long holidays are planning to make a short trip around the country and abroad, and people who are staying abroad and out of town are reserving their tickets to get back and stay at home in those four important beautiful days.

Pujo asche means full of shopping list for the entire family .This weekend we went for street shopping around Chinsura and Esplanade. The malls, street shops and footh paths on weekends are overcrowded in this season and the chaos from everywhere and the only few conversations of people were echoing in my ears are “dada oita din”, “dada oita koto dam”, “dada alada colour nei?”, “dada holud colour dakhan”, “na thik pochondo hocche na”. Well, at every corner there is a new model of dress , the lights sparkling from the jewellery shops are attracting the girls more. From sharees to shoes, watches, smartphones, jeweller, or any item, there is an offer banner with a tagline “Pujo Offer” for everyone and the malls are using lucky coupon schemes to attract more customer. But sadly we saw a lots of people who came up from far away who could not afford any new dress for their children, it was an corn seller, I asked him dada, kena kata hoye gache? He replied me “No Sir, even I could not afford to gift new dresses to my child on this year” . After all this I asked myself “Money or life which is the most important things?” and I think, both are parallely important.

Puja Street shopping

Pujo asche means we have to look good in every way that is possible, the best looking dress to stay attractive and unique in the crowd, extra glow on skin as people are busy pampering their skin. People are also maintaining weight to look good on what they wear, I have gained a massive weight in the last few months and I weight around 85 kg but sorry I can not control this because I am a foodie.

Well Mahalaya is just a week away and the beauty is to wake up at 4.00 AM early morning and listening to the “Mahisashur Mardini” on All India Radio, its great popularity remains undiminished even today 86 years later. On morning witnessing the chokkhu daan on the idol Goddess Durga is one of the most beautiful things on the day of Mahalaya.

Festivals are the important part of our life, as Durga Puja is here and Diwali is just knocking the door and to intensify the happiness there will be gifts, foods, dress etc, but it is the sense of belongings that connect us with each other during festivals. Festivals are the reasons to bring family and friends together.and celebrate the very spirit of mankind. Its the festival so sort out some time and spend with family, friends and the people you love.Believe me, festivals are the one of the opportunities to bring people close. Wish you all happy Durga Puja/Navaratri.
weekend at puri, puri beach
Weekend at Puri

After a long week of crammed schedule which was full of chaos, office burden , business pressure and other undesired work all of us want a weekend which should be free from all the chaos , rejuvenate ourselves by spending quality times with ourselves and loved ones and by doing all the things that we love to do in our spare moments . But let me practical, spending the weekend depends from person to another person we have different priorities and we set our agenda according to that. Let it be a service personnel who would love to spend the weekend with family and setting agenda for the upcoming week. A businessman who runs a stores would not like to take weekends from the business as weekend markets are more profitable than other week days , law enforcement personnel like us doesn't have a weekend , we take days off when it's necessary plan according to it, and for a student weekend means learning something new and roam out with friends. As I told everyone has different priorities but for me the weekend means spending time with myself and family and doing all those things that make me happy, as I believe that "what I have is this moment and today" .

How do I spend my weekends :

Enough sleep
As on other week days I usually wake up at 5 O clock which doesn't fulfil my sleeps then two and half hours of journey to reach office and again the same when back to home and it really soak out all my energy but on weekends and other holidays I sleep two hours more and it really makes me feel refreshed and energetic and on weekend let my body completely relaxed without any workout.

Long ride

I am not a pro-biker nor I have a cruise motor-bike but I love to ride . On weekends Me and my wife usually stuff everything that we need and leaves for the ride without any plan . We make plans on road and makes an unplanned trip within 150 km usually and explore to an unknown place , we both loved to visit forgotten monuments, sculptures and unusual place like British graveyards, temples, banks of Ganga and many more. I don't know such kind of habits are good or not but it makes us feel better and free.

Spend time with family
Family is all I have and I feel myself the happiest person on the earth alive because of them and how they make me feel special, and it's my responsibility to sort out as much time as possible and spend time with them. I cook for them whenever I get time , family outings and unusual gossips together really help me to bond with them much better . Their eyes seeks for me in their needs , and to share their happiness and sorrows. A Healthy family doesn't only mean to stay everyone fit but it also includes a perfect bond with everyone in such a way that when they will need someone to share what they feel they will not need any other people from outside and you will become their first priority.

Disconnecting from social media.
Social media is a boon as well as an important part in our daily life to stay connected with the world but just like other important things we do in our life it should be a habit and it should not be an addiction, and when its an addiction it is harmful for our health, condition of our mood. I usually stay away from the social media on the weekend , no Facebook and twitter and nominal phone calls only. Believe it or not but by doing this it helps me to connect with the real world , myself and family . It's a kind of distraction that I don't want on my weekends , all I want to do the things I love and spend quality time without any distractions.

Learn new tactics
I am always a good learner and I never leave an opportunity to learn new skills and practice the existing method. After all the chores and being a cyber security analyst I do bug bounty hunting which fetch me some good amount of money at the end of the month, because its fun and profitable too.

We all have our own way to spend our weekends but one should remember that it should be productive and refreshes our mind and body, as weekends are the best time to re-charge ourselves and it helps us to stay concentrated on the works we do on our next weekdays .

over tourism, effect of overtourism, hog market, dharmatala market, esplanade market
Effect of over tourism

There is no doubt that tourism has an ethical impact on the economy of our country as well as provides prosperity and employment to the nation and locals by generating revenue , taxes and by providing jobs. People visit the tourists places for their unique features either a beautiful bay of seas , ancient places, natural beauty , sports and adventures any many other attractive features. However in present days tourism has become unsustainable for nature due to human activities and mal-practices by the tourism companies. Over tourism may be a boon for the pockets of a region but it has arises many problems related to sustainability and environmental degradation .

 What is Over tourism ?
When too many tourists visits at a place and the situation creates more problems than benefits. It deluge the balance of livelihood, culture and heritage, attractiveness of the tourist spots and also it arises the problems regarding environmental degradation .

 Negative Impacts of Overtourism

One of the poor impact of over tourism is sustainability of livestock, a tourist places which has enough spaces, food, drinks, medicines and daily requirements goods of 2 lakhs guests annually but actually there are unexpected guests of about 2 millions annually every year. Then the things becomes the theory of ‘Demand and Supply’, the demand of every needs increases without out any proper ratio of supply hence prices of livestock rises with the shortage of living spaces, increase in the amount of sewage wastes , city becomes congested , places becomes over crowded, beauty and the attractions of the places becomes deteriorated. Jungle of plastics , as now a days uses of plastics are everywhere from the tube of the toothpaste to the packaging of the edible foods and drinks. The more the tourists the more uses of plastics in daily needs as a results plastics are littered everywhere around us which block the drains and sewage system and land pollution. The rainwater gets trapped by the plastics in the soil which decreases the ground water level, and plastics on the bay area really harm the aquatic animals as well as the tourists surroundings looks so messy .

 How to overcome overtourism?
Do not litter Natural tourist sites are regularly destroyed by human waste, plastics and mal-practice by the tourists , but if you love this earth and want your favourite destination to be look alike even after few decades then please don’t litter wastes , especially the plastics which takes more than a thousand year to abolish.

 Use Public Transport
Use Bus, train and shared cab as transport because public transport can be used by multiple person at the same time rather than travelling on car by single occupant. Public transport not only decreases th traffic but it also helps to reduce air pollution.

Plan a trip on off-beat season .
On season trips are often overwhelmed by unexpected guests , places becomes crowded and tourism experiences are degraded . If you plan a trip on off-beat season then you will not face the massive crowds, the prices of rooms and daily needs becomes cheaper in this season so you will save money as well as you will enjoy your favourite destination too in the way you want.

 Spend Responsibly
Instead of spending much on tourist’s companies we should spend on local business which will grow the local economic, boats, foods or guide a local service at a tourists spots are better than the services provided by travel agencies . The travel agencies are always in queue to make money on behalf of their company and in the result they brings a rush at the spots where tourist could not enjoy in their own way. I suggest to travel independently and hire a local guide, eat at the local restaurants and understand their culture and traditions.

 Respect local culture.
Every culture are unique in their own way and has their significance in the world. But what happens when we mix up our own and their correspondent ? You may not feel the theme they want resemble. By often the respect towards the local culture and traditions are con-tempted by overtoutism. Always remember its their culture and traditions that makes them unique and that is why it attracted us to visit their place.

 Obey the traffic rules:
Overtourism always ended up with heavy traffic and more than that people always breaks the traffic rules to get out of the traffic rules early but all of them stuck up at the source of traffic jam which makes more difficulties for the local authorities normalises the traffic. So its important to obey the traffic rules and be on your lane until it is not any emergency situation.

 Be a responsible tourist
At the end this is your earth where you eat, live and grow , this may not be your place or country but this is the part of the same planet you live. So responsible to where you stay, do not litter wastes , always dump the non-biodegradable waste at the proper place , always respect the locals , try to avoid traffic and air pollution by using public transports. Do not do anything that may harm the environment, local culture and tradition and at the end when you return back you can tell everyone that you had a great journey.

I have left Hooghly my hometown, along with my mom and dad at the age of 8 years probably I don't remember. Five years ago I came back again after 18 years settled here and started my livelihood. It's been a great experience around the nation, I have lived a great life of about 18 years because of my dad's transferable jobs and the interests towards travels grown inside me with that . After I came back here I started peeping around my city and found lots of historical places, temples , mixed with modern and ancient traditions. I have created a list in which I have already visited those places which is nearby my resident and also those places which I have plans to visit very soon by the coming winter.

Basilica of Holy Rosary (Bandel Church)

If you are planning a short weekend trip around Hooghly then Basilica of Holy Rosary commonly known as the Bandel Church. Its a great spot with immense history . It was first established on 1599 by the Portuguese but it was burnt by some moors of Emperor Shaha Jahan in 1632 and destroyed Portuguese settlements. After sometime things has been settled down and father Joah De Cruz was successful to impress emperor Shah Jahan and he donated about 100 hectors of land to local Christians and the church was re-elected in 1660.There is much more to explore inside. Me and my wife we often visit this place specially on weekends. To visit here you will get Howrah Bandel Local train after every 30 minutes from Howrah . From Bandel station there are AutoRikshaw available and you can also book a cab.

 Imambara

Imambara, Hooghly Imambara
source:timesofindia

It is also near to the Bandel Church and situated in Hooghly at the beautiful bank of Ganga river. To reach here you have to board the Howrah Bandel local from howrah and de-board the train at Hooghly station. From there totos and AutoRikshaw are directly available. Let's get through the descriptions of Hooghly Imambara. Imambara means the residence of the Imams, but it is a congregation hall for commemoration ceremonies of Shia denomination and associated with recognition of Muharram. The construction of the building was started by Muhammad Mohsin in 1841 and completed in 1861 by Hazi Muhammad Mohsin and it took almost 20 years to build. It was designed by Keramtulla Khan , the main courtyard is surrounded by two storey building and there is a fountain and pool in middle of the courtyard which attracts the beauty. But the main attraction of Imambara is the two high towers of about 85 feet and consists 152 stairs in both which gives a magnificent view of Hooghly river , railway bridge the connect hooghly and Naihati . At the back of it there is a sun dial which shows the time with the changing position of shadow but I did not able to understand its concept. But despite of being a nation heritage moment it lacks of care, the ancient lantern glasses are broken , fountain is not working and the water is full of green algae. You may go there and discover the history on its every wall and enjoy some moments at the bank of river ganga.

 Hangseswari Mandir

Hooghly, Hangseswari Mandir,
source: templepurohit.com

The construction of the temple was started by Raja Nirsinghadeb but after his death It was completed in 1814 by his wife of Rani Shankari, the temple is dedicated to goddess Hangseswari and manifesto of Goddess Kali. The design of the temple is truly extraordinary and it is the prime attraction. Each of the tower of the temple has a lotus flower on it which enhance the beauty. Raja NirshinghaDeb was followers of Tantrik rituals and the idol of Goddess Hangseswari was made according to it, presiding four armed made up with blue neem wood. They don't allow to take pictures of the idol but I have managed to take a picture. The temple has both the deities of Shiva and Shakti so the temple is named as Hangseswari Temple.

Radha Krishna Temple (Birla Mandir) Kuntighat

Its a very beautiful Radha Krishna Mandir situated at the bank of Holy Ganga at Kuntighat . It is very well maintained and have very good greenery and scenic beauty. This place is so quiet and peaceful. I have visited this place only once and it was very relaxing. If you want to spend sometime with yourself or mediate then there is no better place than this in Hooghly. You may take a Howrah-Katwa local train from Howrah and deboard at Kuntighat station. From station there are many autorikshaw and totos which will take you to the temple.

 Triveni Ghat Hooghly.
This is one of the oldest Holy Hindu cremation ground in West Bengal on the bank of holy Ganga. The word “Triveni” portray the meeting point of three river that is the Ganga, Saraswati river and Kunti River. This place retains its holiness for centuries even after captured by Mughal Dynasty and British. There are many Nissen Huts built during World War 2 and many other historical touches . Triveni is a very vast area even I have not explored in much, there are stories behind every streets. just take an Howrah-Katwa local train from Howrah and deboard at Triveni station and from station you may go onfoot which will take around 10 minutes of walk or there are also totos .

Every evening after getting off from office and before boarding the train from Howrah I get to find out few wonderful moments to admire the beauty of river Ganga (Hooghly river) , ravishing beauty of sunset at the horizon  of Ganga is pure charming and it completely capture my attention. I have captured all these pictures on ferry ride from Fairy to Howrah and the end of the these 10 minutes on ferry on the holy Ganga is truly healing, the beauty of sunset with cold breeze of Ganga feels like it takes away all the stress and burden.

Dace in rain, rain feels like, feel the rain

Now a days my day begin with a gentle good morning from her, then 16 KM of bike ride to board the train to Howrah and at the end of the day its vice versa. The last two weeks was very frustrated, it was filled with new patterns of crime complaints and sacked with heaps of works and research with a completely unknown  field . I really wanted to experience something new that I have never experienced that. So at early morning on yesterday it was raining slowly with cold breeze and asked Sipra "I am very stressed, let's do something exciting"

She replied "let's go for a ride in the rain, it's been a month we haven't went for a long drive "

"We can catch cold and the road is slippery it's risky" I said

She said " it's ok to take nominal risk someday when it's a subject of enjoyable moments, drive slowly with all the riding gears then all will be fine "

Just a cup of tea and Without wasting much time we began our ride.  Believe me it was an extraordinary feelings for me . Empty roads which was away from the chaos of the city, only me and she accompanied by rain and drizzling weather. No hurdles, no fake smiles we both were so free and had nothing to care about other than just two of us . The water droplets and the misty sensations feels like the heaven has been singing the song of life with melodious symphony. The rain make us want back the most carefree, innocence time and sweetest memories of our life . At that moment the inner part of real me " was struggling to come out which has never spoken that much ever before. I am the happiest person on the earth alive with all the who have everything in life . Its drizzling again like before that keep us unbreakable bonded and we are laughing free with harmony.  I assuredly found her the real she which is more pure, cheerful , joyous and more beautiful from inside. More than myself it was like something inside her was carvingly waiting to deliberately out of her to portray her inner beauty. "
its rainning, toto in rain

rainning, its rainning

We stop at the roadside tea stall to have a cup of coffee with hot chocolates to maintain our body temperature as we were wet . But there was also another wonder that was wondering in me, its raining and the cars trucks and other vehicles were so much in rush in the quarter of town , I got a glimpse through my fogged rear view mirror that a girl was trying to cross her old mother supported by walking stick and her face was  having a sign of hope, what an encouraging sight.

tea, roadside tea stall,

We went around 50KM straight on local roads and highway, by the time we came back it was stopped raining and the environment were looking greeny , clear and calm. We both spent the day very well in an extraordinary and risky way but its ok to have some fun with risk if it is really worth full. It relieved me from extreme stress and found myself in a new way.

bike and cloud

water droplets and sky, water droplets,
Once it rain the cool breeze make us refreshed and if it is a clear sky just after rain we can feel the beauty and calmness of the nature. The water droplets hanging from a iron rod and amount  of white sunlight passing through it enhances it's beauty.

Dense cloud when kissed by the light from above seems like heavenly flowers. We can also feel the intensity of the nature . Know what? there is something between the dense clouds, the one of forgetting what was and the uncertainty that we don't know.

rain with umbrella, people with umbrella in rain, beautiful rain
Shield of umbrella , breath the earthy mists, the wetly freshness of earth , blissful of romantic thoughts . Seems like its his day and rests are loosing much stuff in life.

I am rain , I am wet, cold, romantic for someone and troublesome for some, I am gloomy and windy. Umbrella and jackets are best shields to defend me, put your bare feet, close your eyes and feel my drops on your face and the breath in the earthy mists , that's how you enjoy with me

It was last weekend and there should be a gateway not to far but good enough for relaxing. We spend our last weekend on a very delight way because we were far away from burdens of work and household chores . But I am not complaining about it as I love my life and I love my job. Well so finally it was  an unplanned weekend to Digha , luckily we got tickets in the overnight and it was a comfortable journey from Howrah to Digha by train of about 3 hours. I did not book meal online while I was reserving tickets as I have seen before on different train that the meal was not that good and hygienic but in that train I saw the food was really hygienic and I ordered meal for both of us it was really yummy , consists of fried rice , chilly chicken , pickle and curd. The food was less spicy and oily and hats off to irctc for this great improvement
We reached Digha by 3 PM and because of unplanned trip we did not booked any hotel before we have to book hotel on the spot , so we went to old Digha as It is generally less crowded than new Digha. On the first stop at Hotel Sea hawk we luckily got a sea facing room and all the other rooms were pre-booked by the guests. The hotel is big enough with a great reputation among the guests , and I am really impressed by the professional behavior of the staffs. All the upper floor rooms were already booked so we were allocated on ground floor . The room was very beautiful , well maintained and the bathroom was clean and hygienic. As I entered the room I went to the balcony that was the best part of the room and the view was really wonderful.

We took a sort of nap when we woke up it was a beautiful sun kissed evening.   So we thought to take a walk on the beach barefooted. One of the decent part of the hotel is it has a gate at the back and we have to pass through a beautiful garden and temple to reach the gate and it lead to the beach of old Digha. The beach was really quiet and less crowded. Only few people we busy with fishing and two or four couples were there at that time, wow really we spent some quality of time by holding our together along the sea shore . We stand at the edge of the land and from where the waterways of sea begins. We walked along the sea shore about two kilometers until it became dark , but we did not went much ahead because first it's an unknown place for us and second we had to go back the equal distance we have came up. By the time we came back near the hotel we saw all the chairs and wall were full of people . Old Digha is a place where you might find few people during the day time and by the evening it becomes prime attraction for the tourists. Because during day most of the people goes to New Digha beach,Udaypur or many other beaches nearby because these places are suitable to have fun with water but there is no proper place to seat and enjoy the sea breeze at the evening. In such case Old Digha is well decorated where people can seat and enjoy their evening .

Well in evening at Old Digha you might find people selling fresh fishes and crabs on rickshaw you can choose any fish or crabs they will make you fish fry , fish pakoda and other dishes on the spot . We tasted big prawn and crab ,it was really delicious and the price was affordable too. By the time it was 8:30 PM and we were so tired and went back to hotel and decided to complete the next part on the next day . We were so tired that we could not go to the restaurant which was situated the ground floor so we ordered the food at our room . It was plain rice and fish kaliya but believe me the quality of the food was so good as I did not expected that much from hotel's in-house restaurant.

Next day we planned to visit Digha science city , Amarabati park and Udaypur beach . First we went to the park the entry fees was just Rs.5 only per head .  The park was well decorated with greenery and flowers. But the main attraction was the ropeway as it gives the view of entire park from the top hanging in the air . It was my first experience on ropeway and it was great , the tickets was of rupees 60 per head. Well the park is well decorated with different breed of colorful  flowers , rabbits and different birds like kingfishers, white pigeon etc, just like a mini zoo . If you are with family and want to kill some time there then this is the place with ropeway , boat ride , well decorated gardens, a small bridge over the lake etc , children will love it the most .

Digha science city

lost in our thoughts

Market at Old Digha

Then we headed towards the Digha science city a mini science city where many scientific phenomenons has been beautifully portrayed .  This place is specially created for children, mass visit from schools are often seen here. Models of 3D images, epic center of tornado, bio science etc are well described here. I heard that they have separate theater for 3D shows but we were in hurry so we could not explore that part of the science city.

Then we headed towards Udaypur beach its about one and half kilometers from science city, we took a motor van it costs us Rupees 30 per head. It is situated at the West Bengal-Orissa border the entrance of the beach falls in Orissa where as the left part of the beach falls in West Bengal. The main attraction of this beach is bike ride and water sports. We took a bike it was at an affordable rate. What can be better than an exciting bike ride along the beach, it was an awful experience for me. But we humans have really made this world a worse place to live in, the entire beach is pathetically littered with alcohol bottles and plastic plates, people seated around are literally heavily drunk and one will feel unsafe. In my opinion Udaypur beach is not safe if you are with family, else the experience was great . Next day we packed our luggage and headed back to home. It was an amazing weekend for us , far from chaos , burden of work, crimes and sort of tensions.
